TLC Braiding and Beauty Academy

A full year of advanced training for people who want professional-level expertise and the confidence to run their own hair and beauty business. Small group cohort, extensive hands-on practice, and a VTCT Advanced Diploma in Hair & Beauty on completion. You will learn: advanced hair skills including weaving, wig styling and occasion or bridal hair, advanced braiding techniques, makeup artistry, client consultation and customer service, plus portfolio and business readiness with photoshoot experience. A six-month group course for beginners and improvers who want solid, employable hair and beauty skills. You train in a small cohort, practise on training heads and real clients, and finish with a VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hair & Beauty plus a portfolio of your own work. You will learn: customer service and client consultation, confidence building, braiding techniques from basic to intermediate, hair care and styling, makeup basics, and how to present yourself and your work to paying clients.
