Getting views but no sales: what's actually wrong
Your video did numbers. Your comments are full. Your bank balance did not move. This is the most common complaint we hear, and it is almost never solved by posting more.
Views prove attention. Sales prove demand plus a clear path to buy. Those are three separate machines — Attention, Offer, Conversion — and only one of them is usually broken.
Views are an attention metric, not a demand metric
A post can travel because it is entertaining, controversial or well-timed, and still reach nobody who has the problem you solve. Broad reach with a narrow offer produces exactly this pattern: high views, silent DMs.
Before changing anything, ask one question about your last five posts: did they attract people with the problem, or people with the interest? Interest watches. Problem buys.
Work out which of the three blockages you have
| What you see | Likely blockage | First move |
|---|---|---|
| Views but no comments, no saves, no questions | Attention — wrong audience | Change who the content speaks to, not how often you post |
| Comments and questions, but nobody asks about buying | Offer — nothing specific to buy | Name a buyer, a problem and an outcome |
| People ask the price, then go quiet | Conversion — the decision is unclear | Remove the friction between interest and payment |
| Sales happen but only when you chase | Conversion path | Give people a page they can buy from without you |
What to fix first
- Pick one buyer you can describe in a sentence, including their situation and what they have already tried.
- Write down the one problem you take away, and the outcome that replaces it.
- Make sure there is one place a stranger can read your offer, see the price and pay — not a WhatsApp negotiation.
- Only then look at posting frequency.
Order matters. Fixing content while the offer is vague just produces better traffic to a dead end.
How Content to Sales handles this
The free sales audit asks you a short set of questions and returns which of the three blockages is costing you the most, in order. It does not guess — it scores what you tell it about your current situation.
Membership then takes you through it: validation to prove the problem is real, offer building to make it buyable, and a business page with a mini shop so people can pay without messaging you first.
