Buying Cleaning Supplies Wholesale in Accra: A Starter Guide for Shop Owners

Starting a cleaning products shop

Many people want to sell detergent because every home needs it. The hard part is not finding people who need soap. It is choosing stock that moves, so money is not stuck on the shelf.

Before you stock

• **Know who you will sell to.** Households, offices, schools and hotels buy differently.
• **Start with items people reorder.** Laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, toilet cleaners and paper towels are bought again and again.
• **Start small and watch what sells.** Restock what moves. Hold back on what does not.
• **Learn the products.** Customers trust a seller who can explain which product fits which job.

Retail or wholesale?

Retail suits households buying for their own use. Wholesale suits shops and resellers buying to stock. Ask the supplier about quantities, bulk pricing and delivery to your area.
